General introductionIn 2018, I obtained my Master’s degree in Chemical and Materials Engineering at Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). The same year, I started my PhD at the Department of Chemical Engineering (CHIS) under supervision of Prof. Dr. Sebastiaan Eeltink.
The goal of my research is to develop microfluidic hardware tools for two-dimensional liquid chromatography (LC×LC) to enhance efficiency, versatility and applicability in industrial practice. For example, various microfluidic modulator chips are envisioned to ease the transfer of fractions or the mixing of make-up flows.
