Dr. Jelle De Vos (promotor: Prof. Dr. Sebastiaan Eeltink) from the Chemical Engineering Department (CHIS) received the Best Poster Award, granted by the Royal Society of Chemistry, at the 33rd International Symposium on Microscale Separations and Bioanalysis. The conference embodied an interactive forum with discussions on cutting-edge research on the frontiers of separation science, advances in fundamentals and innovations in separation technology, and high-impact applications relevant to health, medicine, food and the environment. His poster entitled “Development and application of microfluidic thermoplastic chips in high-performance liquid chromatography”, highlighted the developed microfluidic chip technology for liquid chromatography using cyclic olefin copolymer as a substrate.
